Data Cabling Engineer

Data Cabling Engineer / Structured Cabling Engineer Bristol

Bauhaus Recruitment is looking for experienced Data Cabling Engineers and Structured Cabling Engineers to work across various sites in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Projects will include schools, offices and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a structured cabling
• Data cable pulling, dressing and routing
• Terminating RJ45 data outlets and patch panels
• Network cabling installation
• Fluke testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting
• Labelling cables and completing test documentation
• Installing trunking, tray, basket and other containment
• Cabinet and comms-room work
• Completing first-fix and second-fix data cabling duties

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Data Cabling Engineer, Network Cabling Engineer or Structured Cabling Engineer
• Experience with copper data cabling installation and termination
• Valid CSCS or ECS card
• Own tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred
• Reliable, professional and comfortable working across multiple sites

Weekly pay is available via CIS or Limited Company.
