Principal Consultant – SAP EWM

Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Principal Consultant with 10+ years of experience in SAP EWM functional and technical consulting. The ideal candidate should have a strong expertise in end-to-end warehouse business processes, SAP EWM configuration, solution design, and full lifecycle implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP EWM implementation projects from start to finish.
• Configure, design, and optimize SAP EWM solutions to meet client requirements.
• Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems such as ERP, TM, WCS, TMS, 3PL, and carrier systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and provide client-facing consulting.
• Lead onsite and offshore teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document processes, perform testing, troubleshooting, and system enhancements as needed.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of SAP EWM implementation, configuration, and support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, VAS, Quality Inspection, EGR, Wave Management, Physical Inventory, Posting Changes, and warehouse organizational structure.
• Experience with Packaging Specifications, Handling Units, Post Processing Framework (PPF), Labor Management, Yard Management, and Cross Docking.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP ERP, TM, WCS, TMS, 3PL, and carrier systems.
• Expertise in IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), SAP PI/PO, CPI, and interface development.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM, SD, PP, and TM integration points.
• Experience with RF Framework, POSC, LOSC, WOCR, data migration, queue monitoring, system enhancements, ABAP (BADIs/User Exits), performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution design, customer workshops, documentation, testing, deployment, and client-facing consulting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to lead onsite/offshore teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with WCS Integration, TMS Integration, and Carrier System Integration.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), SAP PI/PO, and CPI.
• Experience with interface development, data migration, queue monitoring, and system enhancements.
• Ability to perform ABAP development for custom solutions.
