Job Description: The Windows System Administrator will manage Windows Server and workstation environments, ensuring their availability, security, and compliance with applicable industry and organizational standards. The role involves performing regular patch management, resolving system issues, and administering Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Windows servers and workstations, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
  • Perform troubleshooting of issues related to Windows OS and applications.
  • Manage Active Directory, including user account management and security group administration.
  • Provide technical support for VMware-based virtual desktops (VDI).
  • Execute system backups and data integrity checks.
  • Maintain and update security configurations to adhere to DoD STIG requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows system administration.
  • Certifications: Security+ required, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
  • Top Secret Clearance 
  • IAT Level 2 
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Administering & Deploying SCCM
  • Server+
