Job Description
Our team sits within the Cyber Threat and Incident Response function in the Corporate Operations Group. We are responsible for the initial assessment, investigation, and coordination of responses to incidents involving the loss, misuse, or mishandling of Macquarie's information assets. Working closely with colleagues across our global offices, we manage data handling incidents, support cyber and incident response activities, and help safeguard the firm's information and digital environment.

In this role you will coordinate the response to data handling issues and potential data loss incidents across our business. You will work closely with privacy, risk, compliance, technology, operations and business teams to support investigations, provide guidance during incidents, and help improve processes, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

- 5 years' of experience in end-to-end process or systems mapping, including identifying control points and improvement opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess information, identify trends, support internal controls and recommend practical solutions.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in risk and compliance controls, including control design and assurance testing.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, information technology or a related field, with knowledge of information security principles and data protection regulations.
- CIPP-E or CIPM certification would be highly desirable.
