PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Integration and Test Engineer, in Virginia Beach, VA. Job ID#219293 Job Description: o Writing and executing test plans.
o Install and configure software components.
o Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
o Document, track, and report defects. • Required Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
o 10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.
o Windows and Linux Cross-Platform test execution.
o Testing micro-service architectures.
o Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.
o Frontend testing of a Web UI. • Preferred Skills:
o CompTIA Security+ certification.
o Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.
o Knowledge of Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools such as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS).
o VMWare virtualized environment experience.
o Experience with Agile workflows using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence. Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
