Our client is looking for an AI Security Automation Engineer for a project and below is the detailed requirement.

Job Title: Automation Engineer with AI 

Location: NYC, NY

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in Python development and automation, including security scanners, orchestration, and API integrations.
• Strong experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and pull request workflows across multi-repository environments.
• Hands-on experience with JFrog Artifactory / Xray and enterprise artifact management.
• Experience with application security and vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk, Xray, CodeQL, Dependabot, Trivy, or Semgrep.
• Strong understanding of CVE/CVSS scoring, vulnerability management, EOL libraries, dependency risks, and software supply-chain security.
• Experience building AI/LLM-driven remediation or agentic workflows that analyze security findings and generate automated code fixes.
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI coding/remediation agents for code analysis, patch generation, and vulnerability resolution.
• Strong experience integrating security automation into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker for isolated code-fix testing and Airflow/cron for workflow scheduling and orchestration.
• Experience structuring security findings using JSON/SQL and building dashboards to track vulnerability coverage, remediation, and trends.
• Strong understanding of application security fundamentals, including injection vulnerabilities, authentication flaws, SBOM, and supply-chain risks.
• Experience with semantic versioning, dependency upgrades, regression testing, and automated validation before code merges.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical vulnerabilities into risk-based business updates, MTTR, exposure, and remediation metrics.
