Title: Solution Architect Specialist

Location: McLean, VA
Work Arrangement: Full-time, On-site (Monday Friday)
Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Must-Have Qualifications

• 18+ years of overall professional experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect, with the ability to understand business problems, define solutions, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• 15+ years of hands-on Java development experience (mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience with design patterns and architectural patterns.
• Preferred experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture and business application development.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing solution architecture patterns, including:
• Micro-frontends
• Microservices architectures
• 12-factor applications
• Strong software development background with proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise applications.
• 10+ years of relevant task management and technical leadership experience.
• Hands-on and architectural expertise with modern cloud-native architectures, including a proven track record of leading organizational transformations.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives with a focus on architecture strategy and execution preferred.
