A leader in integrated product support for complex defense systems is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to enhance warfighting readiness and mission effectiveness. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational availability of critical systems through comprehensive documentation. You will work with a team dedicated to supporting national security missions.

The Role

• Manage technical writing projects and processes, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
• Address complex technical writing challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• Influence system design, solutions, and procedures through expert technical writing.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with relevant military standards (MIL-STD-49501-1 and 2, MIL-STD-2361).
• Operate independently, applying strong expertise in technical writing and documentation.

What You'll Need

• University Degree in English, Technical Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in technical writing, with a focus on military or defense-related documentation.
• Experience producing documentation in Extensible Markup Language (XML).
• Proficiency in MIL-STD-49501-1 and 2.
• Active DoD TS with SCI eligibility security clearance required.
