AWS Devops Engineer - W2

Job Title: DevOps AWS Engineer
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Open-ended)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps AWS Engineer to design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure for scalable microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud automation, with experience supporting production environments.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, monitoring (Datadog or similar), and security best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure and production issues.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and high-availability architectures.
