Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in India. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a strong sales pipeline, and conduct outreach through calls, emails, social media, and networking events. Daily responsibilities include researching target markets and accounts, preparing and delivering presentations and proposals, and collaborating with technical and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs. The role involves nurturing long-term client relationships, maintaining accurate CRM records, and tracking key performance metrics. The Business Development Executive will also support contract negotiations, participate in marketing and lead-generation campaigns, and provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, manage pipelines, and achieve sales targets in technology or IT services.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Understanding of AI, automation, data analytics, cloud, or enterprise software concepts, with the ability to translate them into business value for clients.
- Experience with CRM tools, lead management, and basic sales analytics for tracking and reporting performance.
- Solid research and market analysis skills to profile prospects, understand industry trends, and position solutions effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business education is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain professional, inclusive client interactions.
- Prior experience in B2B sales or business development within IT, SaaS, consulting, or related domains is highly beneficial.
