Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver cross-functional projects in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software or technology initiatives, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution from initiation through completion.
Working under broad direction, the Project Manager will oversee internal, customer-funded, or outsourced projects involving multiple business units, technical disciplines, and global development teams. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of multiple projects across various business functions and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, project sponsors, and technical teams to gather, validate, and document project requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocation strategies, and cost-effective delivery approaches.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely project completion.
  • Evaluate alternative solutions and provide recommendations that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Landmark Project Management policies, standards, and Lifecycle methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project scope, budget, quality, security, and timeline while effectively managing changes and stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and schedule updates to senior leadership, clients, and project sponsors.
  • Identify potential project challenges early and facilitate effective issue resolution and objection handling.
  • Coach and mentor project team members on project management best practices, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams located across multiple departments, business units, and development centers.
  • Ensure successful project acceptance and delivery within defined quality, security, and performance metrics.
  • Keep management informed of potential scope changes, schedule impacts, and resource constraints.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Project Management with a strong background in software development or technology projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional and enterprise-level projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project lifecycle management, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, executives, and clients.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, scope, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within enterprise software development or energy industry environments.
  • Familiarity with Landmark Lifecycle Methodology or similar project governance frameworks.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or other Project Management certifications are highly preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
