Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Senior Design Lead functions related to Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Collaboration and Negotiation, Supplier Development & Management. You will play a key role in driving cost estimation, collaborating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the success of design projects.
Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the analysis and estimation of component costs for new product designs to ensure cost-effective solutions.
2. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve competitive pricing and quality materials.
3. Develop and implement strategies for supplier development and management to strengthen partnerships and improve supply chain efficiency.
4. Manage the relationship with suppliers, addressing any issues, and ensuring timely delivery of components for design projects.
Skill Requirements

1. 7-15 years of Electrical Engineering experience in medical products design and development
2. Knowledge in medical product development life cycle, design input and output process.
3. Hands-on experience in VAVE analysis, BOM cost reduction, Supply chain management and component engineering activities
4. Support system concept definition, system characterization and analysis, new technology assessment and systems integration.
5. Responsible for drafting system, sub-system and functional requirements, test plan, V&V protocol and reports.
6. Role involves multi-discipline knowledge and coordination with Mechanical, Biomedical, Quality & Regulatory team.
7. Experience in working on microprocessor, microcontrollers and sensors.


Other Requirements

1.Certification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management is a plus.
