Location: South ManchesterReporting to: Group Finance Director
An exciting opportunity for a qualified Group Financial Controller to join a dynamic, multinational business and take ownership of a broad, high-impact finance function.
You'll lead an established team of seven and play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening controls and supporting the continued growth of the Group across its international entities.
This role would suit a Group Management Accountant looking to step into an FC role or an experience Financial Controller with consolidation experience. International experience is essential.
The roleLead the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts, statutory accounts and insightful financial reporting.
Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow and working capital management.
Strengthen financial controls, risk management and processes across the Group's international subsidiaries.
Partner closely with the FD and wider leadership team, providing commercial insight and supporting strategic decision-making.
Support the Group's tax strategy and ensure timely compliance across Corporation Tax, VAT and other international requirements.
Lead finance automation and AI initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting and controls.
Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting.
Oversee year-end audits and maintain strong relationships with external advisers and auditors.
Lead, motivate and develop the finance team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
Work closely with operational teams to understand business challenges and identify opportunities.
Challenge existing processes and lead positive change across the finance function.
Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders across the Group.
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
Proven experience within an international group environment.
Strong experience managing a finance team and overseeing a broad finance function.
International, multi-currency and group reporting experience; US reporting knowledge would be advantageous.
Commercially minded, analytical and confident translating financial information into clear business insight.
Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience within recruitment, staffing or a similarly fast-paced services environment would be advantageous.
