Position Overview

We are looking for a strong Sourcing Specialist with experience in IT sourcing and technology consulting to support the recruitment efforts of the project team.

This is not a traditional Recruiter role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in candidate sourcing, particularly within the IT/technology space, and should be comfortable working with technical requirements and identifying qualified talent.

Candidates with IT Consulting experience are highly preferred. Candidates coming from a full-desk IT recruiting background will also be considered if they have demonstrated strong hands-on sourcing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified IT professionals using job boards, social media, professional networks, and other sourcing channels.
• Conduct targeted searches for candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, and project requirements.
• Perform initial outreach to prospective candidates and assess their interest and basic alignment with opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner closely with recruiters and project team members to understand position requirements and sourcing priorities.
• Research and identify candidates with experience across various technology and consulting environments.
• Review candidate profiles and resumes to determine potential fit before presenting candidates to the recruiting team.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, candidate interactions, and pipeline status within the ATS.
• Use Boolean search techniques and multiple sourcing strategies to identify hard-to-find IT talent.
• Support high-volume and specialized sourcing requirements while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT Sourcing, Technical Sourcing, IT Recruiting, or Technology Consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience sourcing candidates for technical/IT positions.
• Experience working with IT Consulting / Technology Consulting environments is highly preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar enterprise software/technology environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of technical skills, IT job requirements, and technology terminology.
• Experience using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, ATS, and other sourcing tools.
• Strong Boolean search and candidate research skills.
• Excellent communication and candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with recruiters/project teams.
