Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Consultant with strong expertise in BEA (Bureau of Economic Analysis) Reporting, FR Y-14Q Reporting, Loan & Commercial Lending Reporting, and Financial Regulatory Compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of regulatory reporting, accounting, finance, treasury, and lending domain knowledge.

This is primarily a business-focused role, and candidates with Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Accounting, Finance, CPA, CFA, or Tax backgrounds are highly preferred over purely technical resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, validate, and support BEA (Bureau of Economic Analysis) regulatory reports and submissions.

Support FR Y-14Q reporting activities, including data sourcing, validation, reconciliation, analysis, and issue resolution.

Analyze loan portfolios, commercial lending data, and financial information used in regulatory reporting.

Partner with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Risk, Tax, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting teams to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.

Perform data reconciliations and investigate reporting variances across multiple source systems.

Interpret regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting standards.

Review financial statements, accounting schedules, and supporting documentation used in regulatory reporting processes.

Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.

Assist with process improvements, reporting controls, documentation, and governance activities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and resolve reporting issues while ensuring timely regulatory submissions.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Regulatory Reporting within Banking or Financial Services.

Strong hands-on experience with BEA (Bureau of Economic Analysis) Reporting.

Experience with FR Y-14Q Regulatory Reporting.

Experience working with Loan Reporting and Commercial Lending data.

Strong understanding of Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting processes.

Experience performing data validation, reconciliations, and reporting quality assurance.

Knowledge of Banking, Treasury, Finance, and Regulatory Compliance functions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification or strong accounting background.

CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification or equivalent finance expertise.

Experience supporting Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, or Tax-related regulatory filings.

Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Statements, GAAP, and Regulatory Reporting frameworks.

Experience with Treasury Reporting and Financial Controls.

Exposure to CCAR, Stress Testing, Call Reports, or other regulatory reporting frameworks.

Experience working with large commercial banks, investment banks, or financial institutions.
