What's the role?

We're looking for a Storage Infra Engineering Lead Specialist to help support and improve the storage platforms that underpin critical services across Westpac. You'll work across technologies including Dell, NetApp and Pure Storage, helping ensure our storage environments remain reliable, secure and high performing. This is a hands on role where you'll support day to day operations, troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to platform improvements and work closely with infrastructure teams across the bank. This is a permanent hybrid role based in Sydney and includes participation in an on call support roster.

What do I need?

• Experience supporting enterprise storage platforms such as Dell, NetApp or Pure Storage
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Understanding of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, replication or disaster recovery concepts
• Experience working in operational environments with change, incident and risk management practices
• Exposure to automation or scripting tools such as Ansible, PowerShell or REST APIs would be highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across infrastructure, application and vendor teams
