Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/ Analyst join a team providing Aviation Mission Planning and Airspace Control / Management Systems support for Mission Command Aviation Programs (MCAP). This position supports the Mission Planning portfolio by assisting with system engineering, software enhancements, and program requirements in a dynamic, collaborative, and mentoring environment on Redstone Arsenal. As a Senior Software Engineer/ Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: * Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
* Prepare work statements, including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Technical Directives or Task Descriptions (TD).
* Create specifications and enhancements for software products.
* Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
* Develop, write, and staff briefings to diverse groups.
* Apply complex problem-solving skills to support mission requirements. Required Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship
* Master's degree in a related field with 10+ years of relevant system or software engineering/analysis experience.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant system or software engineering/analysis experience.
* Active Secret Security Clearance * Experience working in an Acquisition Product Office.
* Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Exposure to Agile Software Processes.
* Exposure to the Software Acquisition Pathway or other Adaptive Acquisition Frameworks.
* Strong Risk Management skills.
* Exposure to aviation mission planning or tactical airspace control or management.
* Exposure to Army Design Methodology and Military Decision Making Process.
