Senior Process Analyst

Outside IR35 3-Month Contract
West Sussex Hybrid (Minimum 2 days onsite)

My client, a leading UK utility company is looking for an experienced Senior Process Analyst to join a major business transformation programme. This role will be responsible for leading process discovery, optimisation, governance, and automation readiness activities across multiple business functions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and optimisation initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Produce and quality-assure BPMN 2.0 process maps, SIPOCs, RACIs, and related process artefacts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitisation, and automation.
  • Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Process Analysts, providing oversight, task allocation, and quality assurance.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex process and stakeholder issues.


Essential Experience

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team of analysts or process professionals.
  • Strong Process Analysis, Business Analysis, or Continuous Improvement background.
  • Proven experience with BPMN 2.0 process mapping and process optimisation.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional process improvement programmes.
  • Strong hands on ARIS experience is essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience identifying automation and digital transformation opportunities.


Desirable

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or other regulated industry experience.
  • Exposure to Power Platform, RPA, AI, or process automation technologies.
  • Experience with Signavio, Visio, Miro, or similar process modelling tools.
