Senior Process Analyst
Outside IR35 3-Month Contract
West Sussex Hybrid (Minimum 2 days onsite)
My client, a leading UK utility company is looking for an experienced Senior Process Analyst to join a major business transformation programme. This role will be responsible for leading process discovery, optimisation, governance, and automation readiness activities across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and optimisation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Produce and quality-assure BPMN 2.0 process maps, SIPOCs, RACIs, and related process artefacts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, digitisation, and automation.
- Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Process Analysts, providing oversight, task allocation, and quality assurance.
- Act as an escalation point for complex process and stakeholder issues.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a team of analysts or process professionals.
- Strong Process Analysis, Business Analysis, or Continuous Improvement background.
- Proven experience with BPMN 2.0 process mapping and process optimisation.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional process improvement programmes.
- Strong hands on ARIS experience is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience identifying automation and digital transformation opportunities.
Desirable
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or other regulated industry experience.
- Exposure to Power Platform, RPA, AI, or process automation technologies.
- Experience with Signavio, Visio, Miro, or similar process modelling tools.
