The Role • Develop design solutions that meet agreed time, cost, and quality milestones. • Manage and develop system-specific requirements and acceptance criteria. • Understand contractual and performance requirements, supporting definition and acceptance across various project phases. • Produce comprehensive documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and supporting calculations for design review processes. • Provide technical support for integrated performance and acceptance activities, including supplier equipment and customer system acceptance. • Contribute to the development of estimates for scope of work and resource requirements for bid and planning activities. What You'll Need • BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification, with eligibility for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. • Demonstrable experience across the engineering lifecycle. • In-depth understanding of power system architecture, generation, distribution, protection, and co-ordination. • Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems. • Experience working within industry codes and standards in a relevant engineering role. • Understanding of at least one of the following: Power system modelling, generators, switchgear, protection, or power electronics.
