D365 F&amp;O Functional Solution Architect<br />Location: Windsor (Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite)<br />Contract: 6 months<br />Day Rate: £465 per day (Inside IR35) We are supporting a large-scale ERP transformation programme for a leading UK organisation and are looking for an experienced D365 F&amp;O Functional Solution Architect to play a critical role in the design and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to lead solution design across a major enterprise transformation programme, working with senior stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to implement scalable, business-focused solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end functional solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations.
• Facilitate discovery, scoping and solution design workshops with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose D365 F&amp;O solutions, promoting standard functionality wherever possible.
• Provide functional leadership to consultants and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with enterprise and solution architects to ensure alignment with the overall technology strategy.
• Produce high-quality functional design documentation and solution artefacts.
• Support configuration decisions while reducing unnecessary customisation and technical debt.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams and IT stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide guidance throughout implementation, testing and post-go-live support.
• Champion best practice and continuous improvement across the programme. Required Experience
• 8-10+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations functional experience (12+ years overall experience preferred).
• Strong expertise across D365 Finance, including:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger
• Cash &amp; Bank Management
• Fixed Assets
• Subscription Billing
• Experience with Direct Debit processes is highly desirable.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale D365 F&amp;O solutions.
• Strong understanding of fit-to-standard implementation approaches.
• Experience producing functional design documentation.
• Previous experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of ERP transformation programmes. Desirable
• Experience within the Energy or Utilities sector.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
