Sr. Staff Software Engineer, AI Software IOT | San Diego, CA, United States | Hybrid | $178,400 - $267,600 We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology innovator known for pushing the boundaries of what's possible to enable next-generation experiences. This organization drives digital transformation to help create a smarter, connected future for all. The Role • Lead the software design and development within the AI Runtime SDK, focusing on the IOT domain. • Contribute to the efficient execution of advanced deep neural networks, large language models, and other modern AI architectures. • Drive feature development and enhancements for AI SDKs supporting various IOT product platforms. • Provide guidance to junior team members and participate in strategic planning for SDK integration into IOT products. • Stay current with industry and academic advancements to continuously enhance solutions from both software engineering and machine learning perspectives. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science, with 8+ years of industry and general software development experience. • Proficiency in C/C++ software development and experience with Linux/Unix-based OS systems software. • Strong software development skills, including data structure and algorithm design, object-oriented principles, and debugging/testing. • Ability to work independently, lead a software team, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences and stakeholders. • Experience with different Neural Network architectures (DNNs, CNNs, RNNs/LSTMs, GANs, LLMs) and embedded software development is preferred.
