Job Description

Overview

The University of Sydney is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Analyst to provide development and support services through the Business Platforms team. The role focuses on delivering rapid digital solutions for workflows, forms, and collaboration solutions within the ITSM, CSM, Flow, API/Integration Hub, and ESS domains.

What You'll Do
  • Provide technical expertise in ServiceNow to deliver solutions aligned with approved architecture and designs.
  • Support the University's Enterprise Service Management platform (ServiceNow).
  • Contribute to relevant standards, frameworks, methodologies, and the knowledge base.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records; support ICT knowledge management.
  • Collaborate with the Product Lead, Business stakeholders, ICT teams and vendors to resolve issues, deliver solutions and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of the application and integrated platforms.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Current ServiceNow Administrator Certification (CSA) with 5+ years of ServiceNow platform administration experience.
  • Experience in ITSM, CSM, Flow, API/Integration Hub, ESS highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, with a sense of urgency and escalation judgment.
  • Understanding of digital automation concepts and benefits.
  • Experience in Business Process Management concepts such as process mapping and optimisation.
