Job Description

Title: MQ Exit Developer (C Programming)
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 Months

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain existing IBM MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits using C programming.
Ensure exit implementations are thread-safe and optimized for multi-threaded IBM MQ environments.
Integrate MQ exit logic with external systems such as LDAP and REST APIs where required.
Provide L3 support for MQ exit-related issues in production environments.
Work with platform and application teams to reduce reliance on exits by evaluating native IBM MQ features.
Simplify and modernize legacy MQ exit implementations.
Support migration initiatives.
Maintain design documentation, code standards, and runbooks.
Ensure proper lifecycle management of exit code, including versioning, deployment, and rollback.

Required Skills:

IBM WebSphere MQ Series
C Programming
Experience in maintaining IBM MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits.
Understanding of IBM MQ internals.
Experience with thread-safe, multi-threaded MQ environments.
