Structural/Civil Engineer 100%Remote
About The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Facilitate ACS-based building system design, startups, and commissioning activities.
- Provide subject matter expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure extensive knowledge of safety procedures, safe work practices, and OSHA requirements for ACS installations.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of prevailing building codes and professional industry standards.
- Coordinate with building construction contractors and equipment vendors for steel detailing and inspection, delivery, installation, and handover to end users.
- Oversee coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors and plant facilities groups.
- Conduct continuous work progress inspections.
- Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, and planned utility outages.
- Inspect electrical building systems for compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee work of foundation, steel, and general contractors for adherence to project delivery methods and schedule milestones.
- Prepare field engineering status reports for Project Managers.
- Provide feedback to improve project technical specifications and standards.
- Communicate technical matters effectively in written and verbal formats.
- Multi-task, manage time, and prioritize project commitments based on established deadlines and milestones.

- 4+ Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a major in Structural/Civil Engineering.
- 2+ years in construction management.
- Experience in design criteria development for ACS systems.
- Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities, or similar industrial manufacturer experience.
- 5+ years in the structural design/installation field.
- Good organizational, communication, and schedule management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Teams.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Build is desired
