Mechanical Service Engineer

Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Mechanical service technician/Mechanical service engineer for one of our engineering clients. With a fantastic starting salary up to £36,500 and the potential to earn even more with door-to-door OT rates, this is a great opportunity.

The Role:

The right candidate will be responsible for servicing, installing and troubleshooting machinery. The role requires a skilled experienced mechanical fitter/technician who can work from mechanical drawings. Responsibilities include:

• Undertake mechanical service/fitting on customer sites
• Respective site work is carried out to a high standard
• Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
• Ensure effective communication with customers and internal contacts at all times
• Manage expense and mileage budget efficiently
• Core hours are 7.00 – 3.30.

The Candidate:

• Mechanical service/fitting background
• From Medium/Heavy industry
• Mechanical engineering qualification
• Welding experience ideal
• Commutable to Rotherham
