Job Description

Your new company Join a large-scale, high-profile infrastructure project based in Cooma, supporting critical operations within a complex and dynamic IT environment.This organisation brings together enterprise platforms, site-based infrastructure, and global support teams, offering a unique opportunity to work across a broad technology stack.

For candidates based outside the region, FIFO arrangements and accommodation support can be considered.

Your new role As a Level 2 IT Administrator, you will act as a hybrid on-site IT generalist, primarily based in Cooma, with travel required every alternate week. You will deliver a mix of end-user support, infrastructure support, and application administration.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Deliver Level 2 end-user and service desk support across hardware, software, and systems
  • Provide Level 1 support for key business applications such as Aconex, Primavera P6, Revit, Revizto, and SAP ECTR
  • Support infrastructure including networks, endpoints, and site connectivity (Level 2)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure, Citrix, and SAP environments
  • Coordinate with internal IT, DSI support teams, and third-party vendors to resolve incidents
  • Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and support activities
  • Ensure IT systems meet security and compliance standards
  • Manage IT assets including hardware/software inventory and lifecycle
  • Support application administration including user access, configuration, and maintenance
Workload split:
  • End-user support: 50%
  • Infrastructure support: 30%
  • Application support: 10%
  • Asset management and administration: 10%
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a Level 2 IT support or systems administration role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and systems
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, Azure, Citrix, and general infrastructure
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a hands-on, site-based environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple support teams
Desirable experience
  • SharePoint
  • Primavera P6 Professional
  • Aconex
  • Autodesk Revit / Revizto
  • SAP ECTRLMS or specialist project management tools
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based environments will be highly regarded
