Business Data Analyst III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Data Analyst III to join their team in San Diego, CA.

Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist/Analyst contractor who is a creative problem solver with a passion to deliver advanced data-driven solutions. You will work alongside product managers, marketers, and others. We are an exciting, growing, and fun team that works with industry-leading analytics tools, techniques and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS or MS in an appropriate quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research)
* 5+ years hands on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Qlik)
* 5+ years experience with quantitative analysis and product analytics in a SaaS setting
* Fluency in SQL and Python
* Direct experience with A/B testing, from test design to setup to interpretation
* Proven ability to automate and streamline data analysis with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
* Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Knowledge of Causal Inference and other advanced analytics methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
