Pay Range - $37 - $41/hr
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support multiple healthcare and epidemiology research projects simultaneously.
- Attend regular project, team, and stakeholder meetings.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize programs using R, Python, and SQL.
- Extract, clean, transform, and validate healthcare research data.
- Build and maintain datasets for epidemiology and public health research studies.
- Perform data programming and analysis to support research objectives.
- Document programming methods, data processes, and analytical results.
- Present findings and communicate technical results to researchers and project teams.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists, biostatisticians, researchers, and other cross-functional team members.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of research data and programming deliverables.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.
- Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience supporting healthcare and/or epidemiology research.
- 5+ years of experience as a Research Programmer, Programmer Analyst, Data Consultant, Health Data Scientist, or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
