Job Description

Description

The Senior Product Engineer - supports all aspects throughout the manufacturing process from initial conception to delivery to the end customer. The Product Engineer communicates and collaborates with internal departments including sales, assembly, production control, quality and test engineering daily to assist in reaching company objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Creates, maintains, reviews and approves technical documentation such as datasheets, process
  • specifications, reports and internal documents and specifications.
  • Provides support on a range of products and services to internal departments and externally to
  • customers. This includes but is not limited to; supporting the test floor, product claim validation, programming and yield analysis
  • Ability to use oscilloscope and semiconductor hardware to evaluate semiconductor product performance
  • Addresses other tasks as they arise such as; product characterization in a lab environment, data analysis, capacitance testing and hardware debug
  • Prior hands-on experience as a Semiconductor Product Engineer
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements into test and assembly specifications
  • Familiarity with Data and Yield Analysis Tools
  • Experience driving Device and Package Level Qualification
  • Submits failures to failure analysis lab and understands semiconductor analysis techniques
  • Drives closure of product test and assembly failure evaluations

Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Modifies process flows based on historical trends to streamline the manufacturing process.
  • Coordinates new product developments and tracking associated costs.
  • Supporting Test Services, Programming and Burn In as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
  • Equipment Used:
    • Component ATE
    • Component automated handling equipment
    • Device Programmers
    • Wafer probers
    • Temperature forcing equipment
    • Basic lab equipment
    • Burn-in chamber
