Senior Vice President Investment

The company operates in the investment and financial services sector, focusing on capital advisory and investment management solutions for businesses and investors.

Role Summary :

We are seeking a senior leader within the infrastructure team.: the successful candidate will drive business development and origination, convert relationships into mandates, and lead transaction execution end to end.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Transaction Execution :

• Support and lead the execution of advisory mandates across M&A, private equity, structured finance, debt syndication, and refinancing transactions.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful deal execution from mandate to closure.

• Assist in preparing financial models, pitch books, transaction documents, and client presentations.

2. Client Management :

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the infrastructure ecosystem, including roads, renewable energy, logistics, e-mobility, connectivity, storage, and related sectors.

• Work closely with promoters, CXOs, and finance teams to understand their business and financing requirements.

3. Business Development :

• Support senior leadership in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

• Gradually build the capability to originate advisory mandates through client relationships, networking, and market engagement.

• Contribute to developing a healthy pipeline of opportunities over time.

4. Strategic Advisory :

• Assist clients in evaluating financing options, capital structure, mergers & acquisitions, and other

strategic transactions.

• Work with internal teams to provide practical and value-driven financial solutions.

5. Market & Sector Research :

• Keep track of industry trends, regulatory developments, and capital market activity.

• Share relevant insights with clients and internal teams to support business development and execution.

Candidate Profile :

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent

qualification is preferred.

• 12+ years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or a similar role.

• Strong experience in executing M&A, debt, equity, or structured finance transactions.

• Exposure to infrastructure, renewable energy, logistics, mobility, or related sectors is preferred.

• Good understanding of financial modelling, valuation, and transaction processes.

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Demonstrated interest and potential to develop business origination capabilities over time.

• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership.
