Workday Consultant: Only W2 

Introduction: USC

The Workday Consultant will play a crucial role in managing the company''s first Open Enrollment cycle post-implementation. This position requires a blend of functional configuration and system administration skills, with a focus on Workday Benefits and HRIS.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and updating benefit plans, eligibility rules, coverage levels, and deduction/earning codes for the upcoming plan year.
  • Setting up Open Enrollment event types, enrollment periods, and communication materials within Workday.
  • Updating benefit rates, rate tables, and provider premium schedules.
  • Leading end-to-end OE testing, including configuring test scenarios, launching test events, and validating business processes.
  • Configuring Workday ACA eligibility measurement rules, stability periods, and hours tracking.
  • Setting up Offer and Coverage codes for ACA reporting.
  • Auditing, troubleshooting, and generating IRS year-end ACA reporting files.
  • Serving as a Benefits Administrator to troubleshoot configuration issues, run audits, and resolve enrollment errors during Open Enrollment.
  • Partnering with functional benefits stakeholders to translate plan changes into system requirements.
  • Running EIBs for mass data loading, such as rate updates and enrollment corrections.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Workday Benefits and ACA Processing.
  • Proven track record of running at least 2 full Open Enrollment lifecycles in Workday.
  • Experience with first-year/cutover OE is a major differentiator.
  • Technical skills in Workday Benefits Config, EIB mass loads, Calculated Fields, and Custom Reporting.
  • Availability for an immediate start through the end of January/February for post-OE closeout and ACA filing prep.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AutoCAD Architecture.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and HR Management Systems.
