The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial and management reporting, analysing business performance and providing insights that support decision-making across the organisation. This role extends beyond traditional reporting responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand performance drivers, identify opportunities and contribute to strategic initiatives. Success will come from your ability to combine strong technical reporting capability with commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial outcomes
- Prepare and analyse management reports, board reporting packs and business performance metrics
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and support the maintenance of robust financial controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations
- Assist with statutory reporting, external audits and compliance obligations
- Drive reporting, process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- Support strategic projects, business initiatives and ad hoc commercial analysis
You are a commercially curious finance professional who enjoys working with data, understanding business performance and influencing outcomes through meaningful analysis. You combine strong financial reporting expertise with a proactive approach and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience within financial reporting, financial accounting, audit, business advisory or commercial finance
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting expertise
- Advanced analytical capability and strong attention to detail
- Well-developed Excel skills and confidence working with complex datasets
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
