Security Operations Center Analyst

• 1 or more years of experience working in a dedicated security operations center (SOC).
• Proficiency in security alert monitoring and real-time incident triage.
• Experience with SIEM platform monitoring and interpreting technical event logs.
• Experience in identifying, analyzing, and distinguishing security incidents from false positives.
• Experience with structured incident escalation procedures and standard playbook execution.
• Experience in shift-based operations supporting 24/7 mission-essential information systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Monitor security event queues and mission-essential information systems on a 24/7 schedule.
• Classify, prioritize, and escalate active alerts to ensure rapid incident resolution.
• Log and respond to incoming events captured from email, chat, and voice systems.
• Analyze security data feeds to accurately isolate valid threats from false-positive indicators.
• Assist with containment and resolution efforts during active network and security incidents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build, refine, and update security incident playbooks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate incident severity and provide recommended response actions.
