Investment/Asset Management Client Onboarding Consultant @ NY

Preferred Background

• 15+ years in Client Onboarding, KYC/AML, Due Diligence, Client Lifecycle Management, or Business Operations.
• Experience at firms such as BlackRock, State Street, BNY Mellon, Northern Trust, Fidelity, Vanguard, Franklin Templeton, Invesco, or similar institutions.
• Hands-on experience managing or transforming onboarding operations, not just consulting or technology delivery.

Primary Responsibility Partner with our team over a 3-4 week engagement to:

• Document the end-to-end current-state onboarding process from client intake through first trade.
• Identify all participating teams, systems, controls, handoffs, and dependencies across onboarding and post-trade operations.
• Lead workshops and deep-dive sessions with business and operations stakeholders.
• Identify key operational pain points, bottlenecks, compliance challenges, manual activities, and process inefficiencies.
• Benchmark industry-leading practices and help define a future-state operating model.
• Support development of transformation recommendations, business case, and client proposal.
