Job Description

Join a leading Australian organisation embarking on one of Australia's largest SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. This business-led transformation will redefine retail and supply chain operations across a complex enterprise, offering the opportunity to shape future-state processes on a landmark SAP implementation.

About the role

We're seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA Retail & Supply Chain Business Analyst to partner with Business Process Leads throughout a major SAP transformation. This is a highly business-facing role where you'll coach Business Process Leads, challenge delivery outputs and drive business decisions across retail, merchandising and supply chain workstreams. This role is less about SAP configuration and more about business process expertise, stakeholder engagement and ensuring the business achieves the right outcomes.

Duties
  • Partner with and coach Business Process Leads, providing guidance throughout the SAP Activate lifecycle and helping drive successful business outcomes.
  • Lead engagement with business stakeholders, facilitating workshops, driving decisions and ensuring actions and deliverables remain on track.
  • Review and challenge System Integrator deliverables, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and support a fit-to-standard SAP S/4HANA approach.
  • Coordinate business involvement across data migration, UAT, business readiness, cutover and Hypercare activities.
  • Maintain requirements, risks, decisions and action logs, providing governance and end-to-end traceability across the project lifecycle.
Skills & experience
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst on SAP S/4HANA or large-scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong business process expertise gained within Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain or another complex enterprise environment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities and confidently navigate challenging conversations.
  • Experience coaching business stakeholders, process owners or SMEs through major transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA fit-to-standard principles and the confidence to challenge unnecessary customisations in support of a clean-core solution.
  • Play a key role in one of Australia's largest SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Hybrid working arrangement based in Melbourne.
  • 20 month daily rate contract

Please note, applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights to be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
