Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Location: Raleigh, NC (Triangle Region)

Job Type: Contract (W2)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Primarily Remote

Job Description

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in enterprise data strategy, data governance, or enterprise data architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Expertise in metadata management, data lineage, and data quality management.
  • Experience with data ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data assets, business definitions, data ownership, and authoritative data sources.
  • Experience documenting data flows and establishing reusable data management practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with business and technical teams.

Location Requirements

  • Candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina.
  • Must be available onsite on the first day to collect equipment.
  • Work will be primarily remote, with occasional onsite visits to a Triangle-area office as required by management.
