Solutions Architect

Overview

A Tier 1 bank is seeking to expand its Architecture function in Business Banking and is looking for two exceptional individual contributors to join the team. These are technical, delivery-focused roles, ideal for engineers who have transitioned into architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand the architecture needs of multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
• Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business needs
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users

Qualifications

• Solid experience with cloud (AWS preferred), API and contract-first design and scalable modern architecture
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in Financial Services
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

This is a hybrid role based 2 days a week in either their Manchester office or London office.
