About the RoleBupa are seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist for a 6 month contract, can be based in Melbourne or Sydney
The Implementation Specialist - Primary Care is a strategic role responsible for delivering and embedding innovative digital health solutions across Bupa's national network of health centres. Working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, product management and operations, you will help bring Bupa's Connected Care strategy to life by improving clinician experience, increasing patient access and supporting sustainable commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the implementation and adoption of digital health solutions across Bupa's primary care network.
- Deliver innovative clinical technologies including AI scribes, performance analytics dashboards and patient engagement tools.
- Partner with clinicians, practice managers and operational leaders to understand workflow challenges and design practical digital solutions.
- Co-design product vision, roadmaps and implementation plans with end users to ensure solutions meet both clinical and commercial needs.
- Deliver end-to-end implementation activities including planning, stakeholder engagement, training, rollout and post-launch support.
- Drive user adoption and change management by building capability and confidence across clinical teams.
- Monitor product performance, adoption and benefits realisation, using data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the integration of new technologies into existing clinical workflows to improve efficiency, patient experience and service delivery.
- Contribute to the launch of new healthcare services enabled by digital innovation.
- Work closely with the Product Manager - Primary Care Technology, Clinical Lead and General Manager of Clinical Innovation to strengthen product management capability and promote consistent product practices across Bupa.
- Help optimise clinician productivity, patient retention, billing performance, capacity utilisation and overall business outcomes through technology-enabled transformation.
- Demonstrated experience working within primary care environments, including general practice, dental and/or optical clinics.
- Strong understanding of the commercial, operational and clinical drivers that influence primary care service delivery and business performance.
- Experience implementing and supporting digital health technologies within clinical settings, with exposure to platforms such as:
- AI scribe solutions (e.g. AutoMedAI)
- Cubiko
- HotDoc
- Best Practice electronic health records (EHR)
- Proven success leading the implementation, adoption and optimisation of new technologies and digital tools across healthcare environments.
- Experience designing and delivering training, education and change management initiatives for clinicians, practice managers and operational teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all organisational levels.
- Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within fast-paced, complex and collaborative environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to interpret data, evaluate business performance and balance commercial, operational and technical considerations.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to lead, influence or support initiatives as appropriate to achieve successful implementation outcomes.
