SAP CPI Integration Engineer

Role: SAP CPI Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support integrations between our platform and SAP Ariba using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP BTP, SAP Ariba CIG, cXML, and modern API integrations. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable procurement integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Build integrations between enterprise applications and SAP Ariba using Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), cXML, REST, and OData APIs.
• Develop data mappings, message transformations, and custom logic using Groovy scripts, JavaScript, and XSLT.
• Configure secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth2, certificates, and secure connectivity.
• Implement integrations for procurement documents such as Purchase Orders, Invoices, Order Confirmations, ASNs, and IDocs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production integration flows.
• Partner with engineering teams to design APIs for non-SAP applications.
• Document integration architecture, deployment processes, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) or SAP PI/PO.
• Strong experience integrating with SAP Ariba, including CIG, Ariba Network, and cXML.
• Hands-on development experience with Groovy and JavaScript  scripting in SAP CPI.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData APIs, XML, JSON, EDI, and cXML standards.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
• Experience implementing secure integrations using OAuth2 and certificate-based authentication.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience for enterprise integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Functional knowledge of SAP Ariba Procurement processes.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
• Experience working in enterprise procurement and supply chain integration environments.
