Job Description

Role Title: Data Capture Administrator

Duration: 6 month contract

Location: Telford. Hybrid 2 days per week onsite

Rate: up to £191.13 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Clearance required: Active SC Clearance is required

Role purpose/summary

  • Accurately collate and capture data from CGT, IHT and ISA/JISA forms into designated systems, ensuring all entries meet required standards and timelines.
  • Interpret complex or non-standard form data and apply appropriate validation checks during input, flagging inconsistencies or anomalies for review.
  • Maintain and update capture trackers and control sheets, recording progress, volumes and completion status to support operational reporting and governance.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on captured data, including monthly sampling and validation activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with client expectations.
  • Support monthly reporting requirements by contributing to data capture metrics, including volumes processed and performance against agreed targets.
  • Identify and document error cases or data issues, ensuring they are clearly recorded and escalated where needed to support continuous improvement and client discussions.
  • Use Excel and tracker-based tools effectively to manage workload, monitor productivity and maintain clear audit trails of work completed.
  • Engage with the client and wider delivery teams, contributing to regular meetings, progress updates and discussions on performance, issues and improvements.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to numerical detail, with the ability to quickly identify errors, trends or inconsistencies in large data sets.
  • Work effectively independently and as part of a team, managing individual workload while supporting shared objectives and collaborating on problem-solving.
  • Show adaptability and a willingness to learn quickly, picking up new processes, systems and form types as required.
  • Good at solo work + teamwork
