Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation & Controls professional to program, troubleshoot, and commission industrial control systems, with a focus on water/wastewater applications.

Responsibilities:

• Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider platforms
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks including EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, and VLANs
• Troubleshoot electromechanical control systems and wiring
• Configure and support radio/cellular telemetry systems
• Perform QC testing, system integration, commissioning, and functional testing
• Develop and maintain PLC, wiring, and network documentation
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance of existing systems
• Work with engineers, technicians, and project teams

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Industrial Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on industrial automation/controls experience
• Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA programming skills
• Experience with OT networking and industrial communication protocols
• Knowledge of water/wastewater I&C systems
• Experience with Studio 5000/RSLogix, TIA Portal, FactoryTalk View, Wireshark, or similar
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and network diagrams
• Experience with commissioning and field validation
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
