Job Description
A recognized media organization team is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant in New York City to support SAP HCM and Willis Towers Watson (WTW) integration work during an ongoing HR transformation. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing HR, benefits, and payroll integrations while helping ensure continuity across a complex enterprise environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP HCM support, enhancement, and integration work across HR, benefits, and payroll
- Troubleshoot integrations between SAP HCM and Willis Towers Watson solutions
- Partner with HR, benefits, payroll, HRIS, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on testing and deployment
- Lead system integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production deployment efforts
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP HCM experience in large enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP HCM modules including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Benefits, and Payroll
- Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting WTW integrations
- Strong understanding of benefits administration, HR data management, and payroll processes
- Experience with inbound and outbound interfaces, data mapping, file transfers, and vendor integrations
- Experience leading requirements gathering, stakeholder discussions, and solution design workshops
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
Desired Skills:
- SAP HCM or Workday certifications
- Experience supporting SAP HCM to Workday HCM transformations or operating in a hybrid SAP and Workday environment
- Understanding of HR data migration, integration strategy, and coexistence models during HRIS modernization initiatives
- Experience with Workday HCM, particularly Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, or Integrations
- SAP US Payroll experience
- Knowledge of SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, or similar integration middleware
- Experience with HR data conversion, integration testing, mock conversions, and cutover activities
- Prior consulting experience supporting large-scale HR transformation programs
